About the MUKV

The Media Unit of Kaluthara Vidyalaya was founded in the year 2012. It was started in target of improving students' skills. Every students up to grade 6 could join with this. The media unit of Kaluthara Vidyalaya was started by Mr. Jinasena Silva. In the first 3 moths more than 60 students joined with MUKV. After the end of the year 2012 there were more than 200 members. So this is the Sri Lankan  biggest Media Unit. The MUKV is divided into 4 parts and each part controls by Heads. The 4 parts are ICT Society, Cultural & Religious Society, News & Broadcasting Society and Photographic Society. Every members of MUKV can join these parts. The Media Unit of Kaluthara Vidyalaya will update students' minds and make a Noble Person to the changing society. The name of MUKV will won't erase for a long time.
